Hope Griffin makes his birdie here, and lets an extra guy get in.

Harding is the 52nd ranked player in the world. He’ll have some doors open for him If he can get into the top 50 by the end of the year.

Congrats to Rob! We’re on to the Fall Series.

So just did the math. I think I did it right. If Rob had finished -5 instead of -6, he would have dropped to tie 38, and would have received 29 points, and finished 1.875 points behind Harding, in 26th (I think)

I am shitfaced. Just spent the last fw hours with his friends, playing cards, and then his brotherr at the local Asian place. Had a few Mai Tai's. So fucking happy right now...

Man, he's sitting at T33, 20th projected. If he had missed that putt on 18 he'd be T39 and I'm not sure I want to do that math

Like I said...

It's unreal. Every freaking year it's one shot. If it was a movie no one would believe it.

These finals need wall to wall TV coverage next year. The drama of it all puts the FedEx cup to shame.

Can’t wait for the new season to start! Keep us informed if you get any updates on his planned schedule. I’m hoping he takes a stab at the Asian swing. Those events should be awesome.

Yep, The Greenbrier is first. Then Sanderson Farms, Safeway Open, Shriners, Houston Open before they head out for 3 stops in Asia. The 3rd is a WGC that he is not qualified for, but there is an alternate event in Bermuda that week. Then they pick up at the Mayakoba in Mexico and the RSM in Georgia which essentially ends the calendar year and they’ll pick it up in January in Hawaii.

Think Rob would do an AMA with us? I'd love to ask him a few questions about life on tour.

I don't see why not. I spoke to him via text yesterday just to say congrats, etc., but I generally try not to bother him during the season. I'm sure he's inundated right now, but when they have the break towards the holidays, I think we could pull it off if someone reminds me and there is interest here.

Rob’s in the field at the Greenbrier, as is every Korn Ferry graduate who wanted to be, including #50 on the priority list, Richy Werenski.

Must have been a hell of a shot on 8 ..

Shot 2 in the hole
Shot 1 241 yds to left intermediate, 36 ft 5 in. to hole

Which makes up nicely for the bogey on 7. Has a 14 footer on 9 to get to -3 on the front.

Nice birdie on the hardest hole on the course #15, a 234 yard par 3 over water, gets him to -4 with 3 now 2 to play

Birdied 2 (his 11th) to get to -1 for the day, and -6 for the tournament. Tied for 9th, but lots of guys left to tee off. Needs to finish his last 7 holes strong.

projected cut is -3 for now so looks to be in good shape for the weekend but yeah, couple birds coming in would be a pretty big boon. Duh.

I think he just drained a shot from the bunker on par 3 8th (his 17th hole) to get back to -6. Nice!
Yeah, holed out from about 25 yards from a green side bunker on 8 and then made a 25 footer for birdie on 9 to finish his round yesterday. Hopefully, some confidence heading into the weekend. A top 10 would be kind of big...

Hit the water on 16 and wound up with a double to finish +2 on the day, -5 overall and T45. Still has a shot at a T20 with a good Sunday.

Makes a 30 footers for birdie on 7, maybe that can kick start a round after going 23 hole without one.

Come on Rob, just one hot back 9 here

-2 through 9 today, in a 20 way tie for 84th at -1 for the tournament. Projected cut line is -3, so if he can get -2 more on the back nine (actually the front 9 for Rob as he started on the back) he can qualify for the weekend and make some money.
