Gotta remember the guys chasing him are on the front right now where it is easier to pick up birdies. There is also the 9/10 back to back par 5’s where guys can jump up quick.

Harding is 26th, but he missed the cut, so he can't catch Rob. Barber is about 15 points behind, and Svensson is almost 19, and they'd both need to jump over Rob. I hope they catch the worst case of the shanks in history on the back 9.

Now, he's 24th. I'm going to lose my shit.
Good thing he finished with a strong round today, I'm not sure 70 would have given him what he needed. Still not liking seeing T31, now dropping to T37 since he finished. Obviously the hope is that the tough back 9 will clobber some of these guys along the way, and maybe bring that back to around 30

It's all about the right guys screwing up, and not getting passed by guys in the same position. For example, Barber, Cameron Davis, English, Lebioda, Ghim are all one shot from each other. All those guys started behind Rob in the top 25 entering the round, so if 2 of them play bad on the back, and 1 plays good, it's a good thing, etc. If 3 play good, and someone else falls apart like Etulain, who is already way behind Rob, that's bad...

Just all sorts of sucks right now. I hate it.

Well Svensson is in at -10. Leaves him currently in a tie at 17, and 3 spots behind Rob, but defending on what happens with other players could move him ahead of or stay behind Rob. Looks like Harris English is playing himself out of the top 25, but still has a couple holes left

Looking at the numbers they were just showing. Looks like rob will end up somewhere between 190-195 points, hard to see that really changing The player currently at 25 is at 180, which is the mythical 25 line they have been using

Oh man, this Bramlett guy just bogeyed 18 to drop himself to 25. Even just watching scores on the computer this is awesome theater.

Then there's Harris English, who is currently projected 26, starting 18. He is +1 on the back, with 4 bogies and 3 birdies. I can't even imagine the butterflies in his stomach right now.

Edit: And apparently made a mess of 18. Man, that's rough.

If you play in the Sosh fantasy golf you will recognize a lot of names as many will be your typical 7th/8th round flyers.

Ollie Schneindjens, Hurley, Compton, Berger, Hoffman, and lovemark are a few names that stick out to me.

I think after that Hurley III miss we’re good. Trahan is the only one left on the course outside the top 25 that could jump him.

right here
Man, he's sitting at T33, 20th projected. If he had missed that putt on 18 he'd be T39 and I'm not sure I want to do that math

So I think Trhan and Werenski are out unless at least Murray makes bogey, or double, not sure whether that will be enough. I guess Lanto Griffin +2 over the final 2, could help as well
