If he doesn’t make birdie, looks like he’ll need Freddie Jacobsen and Dan McCarthy not to play their last 4 holes in -1 or better.

12 guys weekend rests on McCarthy making par on his final hole.
He doubled it and missed the cut. Ouch.

Where are you seeing this? I’m rooting so much for him it was heartbreaking to watch him chip across and over green last week. Want to track where he is this weekend

3rd to last column is projected finish in the 25 (he's up to 24 now)

Cut wound up E so he had a stroked to spare. Was probably quite nice to not have to sit in the clubhouse and scoreboard watch.

AWESOME.

What does he need to do this weekend to move up and get a better position for the tour? Is that something that's even possible at this point?

He’s not in yet. *insert Keitel Wolf gif here*

Barring an incredible weekend, he’ll be low on the priority list. It alternates between the KF regular season list and finals. So something like KF regular season #1 is #1, KF Finals winner is #2, KF regular season #2 is #3, and so on.

That said, I don’t see the initial priority list as that important this year, since there are a few more events before the first reshuffle this season, including the Japan event. I suspect pretty much everyone who’s willing to go over and play Japan and Korea will get in, plus, with fewer total events, there will be less overall demand, since the top guys generally don’t like to play every week.

He played 26 events in 2018 and 21 in 2016 and never had a high ranking. I am sure there will be some wait and see weeks, but I just hope the man gets his card this weekend, then you hope he plays well in an early tournament to move up through the reshuffle. But to your point he is 5 shots out of T10 maybe with some of the stress gone he goes low this weekend, moving up never will hurt.

He moves up 2 spots before he tees up. And now an Eagle on his first hole moves him up to 22

Birdie on his 3rd hole. Nice start up to 19. Come on Rob throw down with a couple 64's this weekend and make some real money

Anyone know what happened on 1, says he eagled from the fairway. I'm on a boat today, so tough to tell what's happening. So fucking happy he made the cut though.

I'm not sure but I think he started on the back 9 today. I dunno if that makes a difference with the description.

Gets in trouble and looses a stroke on 18 (his 9th)

Halfway through the third round -2 on the day, and only 12 putts so far. He is sitting 22 right now in the standings

par on 1-2-3 and is now projected at 24. Needs to make some noise on some of these easier holes coming up.

par on 5 but drops to 26th projected
It's just never going to be easy for our boy. Getting to 6 or 8 under tomorrow would go a long way to making it easy, but if he can't get above say top 40, then it is going to depend heavily on what other people do.

Dropping pretty quickly on every refresh now down to 28th

Rob just runs a birdie part by on 9, had a real good look at it. Finishes -3. Right now he is in 26th 3 points out.

Needs a round in the 60s tomorrow, or just hope he gets lucky

Yep, that's a good birdie on the 212 yard par 3. Jesus, would be so nice if he didn't make this stressful today, but you know it's coming.

Through 8 no w at 4 under for the day, with back to back par 5 coming up, keep making it easier Rob. Got to defend against 16-18
