Necas by @TSC and Buchnevich by @RedOctober3829 2 of the past 5 picks was a real kick in the nuts because I was sure those were going to be my third line RW and LW respectively. Alas.
No doubt. The fact that he is a total hockey nerd and can bang off stats on just about anyone at any time makes him as unique a guy as we've had in Boston.I was going to take him for sentimental reasons. I still love the big fella.
This is my understanding as well.I've been going on the assumption of 4/3/2.
The twins at Evolving Hockey will love you forever.Valeri Nichuskin, LW

This has to be the most expensive squad in the draft, right?Let's get some veteran leadership on the D core, he should have at least 1 or 2 years left in him and he's basically a lock for 40-50 points and good physical defense. He's a stupidly consistent and underrated career. I'll pair him with Dumoulin and pop DeAngelo down to the 3rd pairing with Orlov.
RYAN SUTER - D - Minnesota Wild
Skinner (27) - Giroux (32) - Pastrnak (23)
Wheeler (33) - Kopitar (32) - Atkinson (30)
Bratt (21) - Duchene (29) - Johansson (29)

Hughes (20) - Trouba (26)
Dumoulin (28) - Suter (35)
Orlov (28) - DeAngelo (24)

TSC has Hampus, unfortunately. The pickings are getting a little slim but we found a terrific all situations defenseman stuck on a really bad team. He's 26 and can move the puck well but his main job is helping control play and keeping pucks out of his net. As of now he'll slot on the third pair but can play up and down the line. And we have a little cash in our pocket to make this work.
Hampus Lindholm, LD
Kyle Connor (23) - Leon Draisaitl (24) - Brock Boeser (23)
Filip Forsberg (25) - Tomas Hertl (26) - Viktor Arvidsson (27)
Dylan Strome (23) - Boone Jenner (26) - Kevin Labanc (24)

Brodin was basically Option 2 for me, easily the guy I hoped most would somehow fall all the way back to me. Having him on a third pairing is incredible.Take 2 with my Lindholm pick being shot down. The pickings are getting a little slim but we still found a terrific all situations defenseman. He's 26 and can move the puck well but his main job is helping control play and keeping pucks out of his net especially on PK. As of now he'll slot on the third pair but can play up and down the line. And we have a little cash in our pocket to make this work. Specialist units to come shortly.

Well we're just rolling through all the guys I wanted at this point. Boo...Brandon Tanev, LW
No one named Brandon has ever not been a jerk. Little known fact but the reidents of Brandon, FL are all jerks. It's in the city charter.
Thanks. Sorry for snagging your guy again but not surprising given the common methodology.Brodin was basically Option 2 for me, easily the guy I hoped most would somehow fall all the way back to me. Having him on a third pairing is incredible.
