Overall Football Traits - 1 = EXCEPTIONAL, 2 = ABOVE AVERAGE, 3 = AVERAGE, 4 = BELOW AVERAGE, 5 = MARGINAL

Production: 2
2009: (8/1) 16-3-2
2010: (9/9) 42-11.5-10
2011: Redshirted
2012: (11/11) 39-21-14
2013: (11/11) 33-9.5-7
Career: 4PD, 6FF, 2FR, 3BK

Height-Weight-Speed: 2 - Prototypical frame with good arm length (33 3/4"). Average hand size (9 5/8'). Adequate top-end speed and good 10-yard split (1.67).

Durability: 2 - Hasn't sustained a substantial injury to best of our knowledge and built to handle NFL punishment.

Intangibles: 2 - Parents are Bobby and Jean Moore (step-mother). Voted two-time team captain by teammates. Grew up in south side of Chicago. Mother is Carolyn Blackshire. Three brothers and five sisters. Has a daughter. Didn't qualify for a Division I scholarship academically coming out of high school. Failed a class and academically ineligible final two games of 2010 season. Academically ineligible in 2011. Took a class school official told him to take and got an A but it didn't count towards eligibility. Worked security at night club in Minnesota weekend while taking online classes in Chicago during week that year. Took bus every weekend. Expected to graduate in May.

Defensive End Specific Traits

Pass Rush Skills: 3 - Tracks quarterback well. Can push offensive tackle upfield and redirect inside when quarterback steps up. Average first-step quickness and bend. Average transferring speed to power. Adequate closing speed. Can deliver big hit.

Versus the Run: 3 - Can shoot hands inside and press blockers off frame. Plays too high and won't get away with it as much in the NFL. Average range.

Versatility: 3 - Prototypical 43 defensive end. Light and would have to bulk up but has frame and length to play 34 DE. Not an ideal 34-OLB conversion candidate. Appeared mechanical in space and didn't field the ball well at the Combine.

Instincts/Motor: 2 - Level of competition is obvious concern but stood out like NFL prospect should at that level. Aggressive and plays with an edge. Above average effort chasing the run and passer.
