It's a discussion board. Most of this stuff falls into the "Who cares?" camp. Why do we care what he thinks?
JJ Watt agrees:Secondary, particularly corner is a real concern for team Whites. Otherwise could be pretty competitive most other areas.
I mean, he's not wrong.
I say we implement a reverse one drop rule. We might even get some DBs this way.Who gets Mahomes?
One of the best scenes in a movie full of great scenes
You're taking this too seriously, Tom Robb.Whites may not be able to cover Tyreek Hill, but the Black team would have to deal with Kupp, Kittle and Kelce.
Might take some wizardryWhites may not be able to cover Tyreek Hill, but the Black team would have to deal with Kupp, Kittle and Kelce.
Real concern is a bit of an understatement.Secondary, particularly corner is a real concern for team Whites. Otherwise could be pretty competitive most other areas.
Might need Jules to suit up, too, if the knee can take one exhibition game.Real concern is a bit of an understatement.
Can Jason Sehorn still flip his hips and run?
They just have to hold up for sec because the DE pass rush rotation will be crazy. Bosas, Watt, Hutchinson, Maxx.Real concern is a bit of an understatement.

Who needs the secondary, blitz 11 every playSecondary, particularly corner is a real concern for team Whites. Otherwise could be pretty competitive most other areas.
If we have to go current NFL guys we're looking at:Real concern is a bit of an understatement.

I remember there was someone who did a big article about Black punters (not sure if it was tied to Harvin or King), and one thing they came up with is that the punters who make it to the NFL are mostly the guys who decided to be punters really early and whose parents paid out their own money in large amounts to send them to camps, same with kickers often, also they noted that there are fewer scholarships for punters. Also... just not a lot of kids, white or black want to be punters, they want to be RBs, or WRs, or CBs, or QBs, and so at the HS level a lot of punters and kickers are just whomever is left, which means not the caliber of athlete you need, NFL kickers and punters may not be WR/LB level athletes, but they need to be strong and flexible, particularly punters and few HS, and even a lot of colleges have good specialist training and coaches for what is one of the most technique driven positions. The lack of black specialists makes no sense.
I guess you could say if they turned the clock back to limited substitution, one-platoon football; there'd be a bunch of them.I remember there was someone who did a big article about Black punters (not sure if it was tied to Harvin or King), and one thing they came up with is that the punters who make it to the NFL are mostly the guys who decided to be punters really early and whose parents paid out their own money in large amounts to send them to camps, same with kickers often, also they noted that there are fewer scholarships for punters. Reminds me of Elgin Baylor's line "All of us great leapers were black...except (Billy) Cunningham...and you'd better check on him."I say we implement a reverse one drop rule. We might even get some DBs this way.
So he tried to move a little coke . . .The lack of black specialists makes no sense. Cannot remember a black placekicker since the 60s: Gene Mingo, Broncos; Herb Travenio*, Chargers; Verlon Biggs, Jets (Biggs just kicked off).
* Great article. https://talesfromtheamericanfootballleague.com/afl-interviews/herb-travenio-october-16-1999/ I remember as a kid getting a laugh out of Trevenio being selected for some All Italian football team. Oops.
