Probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, but who cares?

I don't care about the larger question of who would be catching Tom Brady's passes, I just wonder if Mendenhall knows who CMC is.

Secondary, particularly corner is a real concern for team Whites. Otherwise could be pretty competitive most other areas.

Eh. Why not? Falls right in line with the self-segregation were doing in other walks of life.

Why do we care what he thinks?
It's a discussion board. Most of this stuff falls into the "Who cares?" camp.

JJ Watt and Ryan Leaf has chimed in. It's okay that every thread isn't life or death.

Whites would have the advantage in the kicking game at least.

Mendenhall's post is dumb if only because the worst people in the world will use it to talk about reverse racism.

Yeah but where would all those black athletes be if they didn't have great white coaches coaching them up?

I mean, I'm pretty sure Andy Reid taught Tyreek how to run fast.

Whites may not be able to cover Tyreek Hill, but the Black team would have to deal with Kupp, Kittle and Kelce.

It would set a ratings record for the Pro Bowl, if nothing else.

I probably wouldn't start with race, but random divisions would have made the game (back when it was a real game) a lot more fun. SEC Alumni vs was always a favorite of mine. But really anything could work. Zodiac signs. East vs west by birthplace. Those who prefer crunchy peanut butter vs smooth. Think of the sponsorship opportunities! Or could use it to settle the inane debate of the year. Is the dress blue or gold? Is a hot dog a sandwich? Tune into ABC at 1 ET to find out who will be right forever.

Real concern is a bit of an understatement.

Can Jason Sehorn still flip his hips and run?
If we have to go current NFL guys we're looking at:
Riley Moss and Ethan Bonner.

Probably putting Bonner on Tyreek given they have matched up in practice and Hill has said he's the 2nd fastest player on the dolphins.

Safety isn't bad, you have Poyer, Smith, Rapp (I assume half asian half white goes on team Whites.

Still even if you get good pressure, WR screens are gonna be rough.

The lack of black specialists makes no sense.
I remember there was someone who did a big article about Black punters (not sure if it was tied to Harvin or King), and one thing they came up with is that the punters who make it to the NFL are mostly the guys who decided to be punters really early and whose parents paid out their own money in large amounts to send them to camps, same with kickers often, also they noted that there are fewer scholarships for punters. Also... just not a lot of kids, white or black want to be punters, they want to be RBs, or WRs, or CBs, or QBs, and so at the HS level a lot of punters and kickers are just whomever is left, which means not the caliber of athlete you need, NFL kickers and punters may not be WR/LB level athletes, but they need to be strong and flexible, particularly punters and few HS, and even a lot of colleges have good specialist training and coaches for what is one of the most technique driven positions.

I guess you could say if they turned the clock back to limited substitution, one-platoon football; there'd be a bunch of them.

No need for Team Whitey to be nervous, I think we know which color on their stripes many of the refs would favor:
Mendenhall's Mercenaries - 10 penalties for 132 yards
Welker's Warriors - 1 penalty for 5 yards.
Our flop game is strong.
