Why not? Its actually kind of fun so far watching these dudes play dodgeball and catch balls off the Eiffel Tower (in Vegas).

Streamable on ESPN …

I turned it off when I saw this listed as the Pro Bowl QB roster. A far cry from the QB Skills competitions of my youth where you'd see Marino, Bledsoe, Elway, vs Favre, Young, Aikman.

Apparently Derek Carr has a good sense of humor. He helped AFC win the throwing competition last night. After he was asked:

"Derek, you've thrown touchdown passes in Vegas before. You've been on fire. Have you ever been that hot in Las Vegas?"
Carr responded, "Not that hot. That's probably why I'm going somewhere else."

Except for Trevor Lawernce, I'd rather have Mac Jones than any of the others.

I enjoyed the flag games to be honest. I have started to come around to the concept that flag is probably going to be the only game available for kids under 10 in most areas, and that may not be a bad thing. I wish they allowed blocking, but anything that gets kids out there is to the good, and tackle football is withering at that level. I thought the production values were good for the first attempt, and I thought that the level of play was pretty darned good. To be honest, I thought that most of the guys were giving something in the ballpark of 100%, which was cool to see at their level of athleticism.

Obviously it is in ESPN's interest to sell it, but this article meshes with your observations about the players liking it more / playing harder
