Why not? Its actually kind of fun so far watching these dudes play dodgeball and catch balls off the Eiffel Tower (in Vegas).

I turned it off when I saw this listed as the Pro Bowl QB roster. A far cry from the QB Skills competitions of my youth where you'd see Marino, Bledsoe, Elway, vs Favre, Young, Aikman.

Alas, Mac's ceiling is likely replacing Lawrence at some point. You could title it "Everything needs to go exactly right for a SB ring."Except for Trevor Lawernce, I'd rather have Mac Jones than any of the others.
Obviously it is in ESPN's interest to sell it, but this article meshes with your observations about the players liking it more / playing harderI enjoyed the flag games to be honest. I have started to come around to the concept that flag is probably going to be the only game available for kids under 10 in most areas, and that may not be a bad thing. I wish they allowed blocking, but anything that gets kids out there is to the good, and tackle football is withering at that level. I thought the production values were good for the first attempt, and I thought that the level of play was pretty darned good. To be honest, I thought that most of the guys were giving something in the ballpark of 100%, which was cool to see at their level of athleticism.
Thanks, this is a great article.Obviously it is in ESPN's interest to sell it, but this article meshes with your observations about the players liking it more / playing harder
