I just noticed the NY goalie is also full right like Bussi. I don't think I've ever seen a lefty v lefty goalie matchup
Yup, and with all the caveats of what this game is, he looked shaky and uncomfortable. Hopefully just getting the rust off in game action
It’s not like these are each others A teams though. It’s practically scrub lineups for both teams.
I know. At the end of the day, if Swayman’s agent doesn’t start getting realistic he getting traded, and I think he wants to be here. But someone has to make 20-25 starts for this team and neither one of the Providence guys from last year looked good tonight. I was hoping they could waive Korpisalo.
When Brickley is mentioning the word “trade”. That’s the team wanting to put that out there. And this is an organization that NEVER leaks anything. Tells you a lot.
He wasn’t much of a factor. Didn’t really notice him other than a couple of zone entries. Played point on the power play and didn’t show much.
I didn't see the game but that's not great, repeating an issue he had last year. Can't come into camp with a spot they are dying to give to you and be invisible.
I know he was a highly rated prospect as an 18 year old, and we all loved that Sweeney took the consensus guy that fell in their laps. But I just don’t see it with this kid. Literally nothing jumps off the page as far as skill, speed, ice vision, etc.

He's spent a lot of time in the box in his career. 125 penalty minutes in 75 games last year. He's a big physical guy for sure, but he's always in the box. We're going to be watching him parade to the box a lot this year for plays exactly like that.

Kid who put up solid numbers in the OHL, but was fairly quiet his first year in Providence last year
I caught a few of his OHL games, I really like his finish and nose for the net. No clue if it'll ever translate in the pros but he's fun to watch.
