In the App, a lot of Twitter posts don't display anything but the Twitter account's name, which is hyperlinked to their profile. Is that the result of people posting from Chrome?

It is some javascript thing which I'm guessing tapatalk hammers.  I could spend two hours researching it or just ask Sumner, so.... :)

We don't have the source for tapatalk, so we just have to wait for them to implement it.

As mentioned above, works fine in chrome as long as you post just the text and not a URL (this is also the #1 reason people have trouble embedding youtube vids):

This has officially become the single most annoying technological limitation of the SmartPhone/Tablet age. The various forums are now loaded with posts containing nothing but an unlinked Twitter URL. And when it's a thread centered on news-type content, holy shit does it suck ass.

Long live laptops.

They show up fine on the mobile browser skin.
