This is driving me nuts...
I am trying to load my son's tablet up w/ shows/movies before our Disney trip.  I've pulled them off the TiVo, converted them to a format the Nexus 7 should like (H.264 MP4s) and moved them to the internal storage / movies folder on the tablet.

HOW THE HELL DO I PLAY THEM?!

I go to Play Movies & TV, My Library and all I see is Elf (which I downloaded way back when) and Planet Earth (which must have been preloaded).  I can not see anything I put on there locally and it's driving me insane.

edit: When I look at the internal storage amounts, I can tell the stuff is there, taking up space. I just don't know how to get at it.

edit2: downloading VLC to give that a shot...

edit3: VLC was super easy. Browse to the folder. Open it...  Christ, why is the other player so shitty?
