It's not his fault if other people are making excuses for him. He's not like Day who feels the need to tell the world when he takes a sip of too hot coffee and burns his tongue. Fowler has won enough that he's getting the "best to not win a major" pressure but I think he comes off tremendously well when interviewed. He does dress like a jackass, however, and the mustache doesn't help.There is always some type of excuse giving for the guy. He is an extremely popular player I get it. He is probably the best player in the world right now not to have won a major. But that’s never a storyline that’s said out loud. It seems like the tv crew is consistently making excuses for him and unable to say anything slightly negative. That annoys me. I’d rather they just call it like it is.... likeable guy, great player, struggles to close in majors. There is nothing wrong with saying that
