Losing 5-1 to Columbus is embarrassing. This is what you get some nights when you have 1 too 6 players and a bunch of 3rd liners.
The lack of urgency and shots during all of the second period and 90% of period three is a pattern.

That’s bull shit. They had one shift where I would say they were soft defensively. They for the most part work hard since the coaching change. They just have no skill.
I know they can't un-learn over passing looking for the best shot in a week but it's still infuriating to watch it happen over and over when they have an extra skater
It would have been nice if they prioritized helping that in the offseason instead of adding another big, slow defenseman and a “200’ center”.
Zadorov hasn't bothered me as much as some here, but it's just a stupid cup management. Wotherspoon proved to be a completely capable Dman who's biggest skill is you never hear his name, he should have been the 6th D. We all knew even with adding Lindholm they needed more offense, that 5 mil could have been spent in so much better ways
A couple years ago I jokingly said something like they'd rather lose 2-1 than win 7-6. I'm about as frustrated now as I was then and I'm not sure how much of a joke it is.
