PDF Printing Inverse Colors

So I'm having an issue with the colors of a PDF file I'm trying to print. The file is a series of barcodes that appear as black text on a white background. When I print the PDF the white background is black and all of the text is white. This makes the barcodes invalid. This same file prints correctly (black text on white background) from another PC.

I can open another barcode document on my laptop from another vendor which appears on the screen as black text on a white background and it prints correctly.

Something is not working well with this specific PDF and my laptop. Any suggestions on which magical preference/setting I'm missing to get it to print this file correctly and continue to print the other documents correctly?

If you just need this barcode, and every other file prints correctly, have you tried capturing the screen and printing the resulting image?

It's multiple barcodes with other info on the page. 6 barcode+info sections per page, 34 pages per PDF file, and about 15 files. While the screenshot method would be ok for a few barcodes, it's not really useful for this many barcodes.

We did find a work around to print as an image, but it takes forever to print and it was sending 3 GB of data for the one file I printed.

If you have a relatively recent version of Acrobat, you might try Print Production > Convert Colors, and pick an output profile like Gray Gamma 2.2.

Drivers are updated and I tried changing the profile to Gray Gamma 2.2 with no success.

I guess I'll be sticking to printing as an image for now.
