Cool story, Bro . . . hamer (sorry, couldn't resist)

I mean seriously. They didn't come close to the blue seats when we were there 2 weeks ago. Hell, they didn't even come close to the red seats.

Did you watch Rusney? We thought he was just playing out the string when we were there, not running balls out and then nearly knocking over the CF (he was in RF) on balls hit nearly directly to the CF. Took him awhile today to go to 1B on the wild pitch when he struck out and he followed that with another of those races into CF the next half inning

No one was more surprised than I. I wasn't even paying attention until the shirt was about 20 feet away from bouncing off my head.

Rusney was his usual self from what I have seen over the years - flashes of athletic greatness almost immediately marred by boneheaded play. He has just under 400 games played in Pawtucket and another 99 in Boston, but he seems to have no feel for the game of baseball.

I couldn't find a list of Paw Sox games played leaders, but the first name I thought to check was the legendary Chico Walker. The Mayor of Pawtucket played 665 games there. Whatever shortcomings to his game, he had a name from the PA announcer Gods.

Well that game wasn't exactly a breath of fresh air after the London debacle. This 2 day gap is unbearable.

Owing to my baseball jones, I put Portland on Tunein while grilling. Much better news there. Took down Trenton (take that Yanks!) 7-1. Dalbec went deep twice.
