Wow. Hunter Henry is the Hernandez to Jonnu’s Gronk.

I wonder if BB told Henry that they are going to get a rookie QB because Henry did want to play with a real QB.

Wow. Just wow.

Talk about being able to carve up the middle of the field in the passing game.

Bye bye Devin Asasi and Dalton Keene
I appreciate the Patriots seizing the opportunity to improve a position of need. If the Pats do trade or release Asasi and Keene, do these moves indicate any past draft strategy issues to correct or strategies to change?

Might as well load up as much as possible with the lower cap and lack of compensatory picks coming next year. Keep going!

Is there any combination of Smith and Henry that's as fun to say as Gronknandez used to be? The lack of syllables really hurts the Pats' flexibility in this department.

Too many confounding factors unfortunately. If you use third round picks on players who don't make year two then those are terrible picks, but unless something is blidingingly obvious hard to tell what the problem was.

I assume they do keep both, although Asiasi may have some off field challenges (and had some at UCLA).

This is better than Gronk/Hernandez in one key way: Both Smith and Henry are good in-line blockers. This makes this offense very multiple and very scary in the play-action game.

Agree they will give each another year, although wouldnt shock me to see them keep Izzo over Keene who has had at least some value, and may be better served to perform as a very rarely used deep TE

I love the fact that al those talking heads this morning who were like "they got a TE but they still dont have enough WR" now really have to concede that with two really good TE threats you need much less at WR

You think Felger and Mazz will concede that? Have you ever listened to sports talk radio before?

At this point you just trade the entire draft for Watson right? Maybe next year's too? They feel like they're a QB away from serious contenders.

Another interesting wrinkle to this offseason spending spree is how it depletes other AFC teams that we might be competing against. We've taken big pieces away from the Chargers, Raiders, Ravens and Titans.

Winning the offseason Super Bowl is usually a bad sign. I'm scared.
Deep breaths. Agree that this is unfamiliar territory. Cap room is the new market inefficiency but it’s a one time only opportunity.
