I realize this is a special case, about as special as it gets, but it's never a good sign for the current team when an organization features retired guys in their promos.

I liked the concept, just thought they integrated the actual schedule reveals really poorly. Most were complete non sequiturs. And boy, Kraft isn't shy about using Tom to generate interest in this team, huh.

Edit: also curious that Brady hasn't said anything about either this video or being present for the opener in his socials.

I haven't followed too closely but the only thing I've read was Kraft revealing that he invited Brady back - not that Brady accepted. Has that ever been confirmed?

Also, the editing of this video is sluggish as hell and Brady's shot rivals those latter-day Bruce Willis movies for a setup shot at another place at another time and 'seamlessly' cut in.

I mean, the Patritos have put out there that Brady will be present, so if they just ran with that without him having accepted it's just next level scumbaggery. Can't imagine that's the case.

The Titans used idiot fans. The Chargers used anime. Bengals had no Burrow and had AJ Green.

And some of you other guys just don't like fun things.

Here's the thing: this team has a super rich history and I 100% understand the idea that it's time to actually capture/monetize that. The fact that they got so many guys from so many different teams to participate made it really fun. I actually also like the idea of a Patriots Retirement House -- this man cave where all of my favorite players and coaches are surrounded by their Patriot hardware and fellow alums, gardening and shit.

Also: I choose to believe the last shot wasn't clearly filmed, like, 3,000 miles away and spliced in.

Fears and Sweet Feet were great. Also, there are lots of clever little Easter eggs. Did anyone notice the other teams playbooks? Lots of other good stuff too.

Ernie forever.

C'mon, it was a fun video with a really cool theme.

The Titans one ruled though.

2. Bye bye: The Patriots don’t play an opponent coming off a bye in 2023, which some perceive as an advantage due to rest considerations. The Rams and 49ers, in contrast, play a league-high four opponents coming off their bye. This marks the first time since 2013 that the Patriots won’t face an opponent coming off a bye, according to ESPN analytics.

I liked the Broncos version as a huge fan of The Office, but they were even worse in actually integrating the schedule
To be fair, they obviously had to shoot these well before the schedule was done so the actual dates had to be shot and integrated last minute.

For you betting types--teams last season went 0-16 the week after playing the Niners. The Pats have a lot of schedule overlap with the Niners this year, but no games that fall into that pattern.
