I am really interested to see how the Pats front seven does against that really young Dolphins offensive line. The Dolphins ran all over the Pats in the second game last year.

The offense is going to be up and down with a rookie QB and all the new pieces, but the #1 thing this team needs is a run defense that can avoid what happened in that Miami game (and against San Francisco...and the Rams...).

The front seven acquisitions should be capable of huge improvement, but since we didn't see that much from the big guys up front in preseason, that will be an area to watch against Miami and in these next few games.

This is pretty much the matchup of the game, imo. NE’s front 7 looks very good on paper and Miami’s O Line looks like their Achilles’ heel.

My guess is Miami would like to stretch the field with more 11 personnel and get the ball out of Tua’s hands quickly. Miami’s strength would be their skill position players vs NE’s secondary minus Gilmore. Put the ball in the hands of Wilson and Waddle in space and let them work.

For as good as I think Waddle will be, I’m excited to see Wilson back on the field. He was lighting up training camp and roasting every DB in his path. He’s a perfect compliment to Tua’s game.

I fear bubble screens to wideouts and quick-hitting slants to Waddle in the slot more than just about anything else Miami might run.
