Might as well move Folk if a contender suddenly needs a kicker. Maybe swap a Pats sixth to move up to a contender's 5th? Probably even that is too much for a kicker.

Folk makes middle of the pack money at just $1.5m, has been incredibly consistent, and most likely will be back next year if asked:

With all the trouble the ST has right now, I am not sure if a reasonable value could be gained by trading him. With the Pats playing with such razor-thin margins, I am keeping Folk.

I am thinking depth-signing at OL, CB, and RB as the 3 priorities.

I'm confused. This guys says that because the Patriots got rid of a second-rounder in an ill-advised trade, they'll easily want to do so again?

Offer them N'Keal Henry straight up -- first rounder for first rounder

Any argument that looks at what we did in 2019, when we had Brady as QB and were trying to still win a Super Bowl, can and should be discarded as being fatally flawed.

Have to think outside CB is the top priority. Mills can’t keep lining up there and getting crushed. I can’t see the Pats integrating a new, young WR like Aiyuk successfully mid-season.

I wonder how much the Panthers would require in a deal for Stephon Gilmore.

Sorry.

Way too obvious.

Yes, I'm bitter about this.

Winovich will get traded or released. 0 defensive snaps in a blowout. Not on the injury report.

Beyond that, I have no idea what the Patriots will do.

Probably no chance Miami would deal Howard in the division.

Barnwell suggest the cost would be:

ESPN lists a Xavien Howard trade as a potential deadline move (yahoo.com)
How does Barnwell think that they would have to attach what is a high second to Howard for a mid to late first?
I think Tenn does that every day of the week and Miami never does it.

I know people don't love Mays, but ESPN took the wrong writer from Grantland when they took Barnwell instead of Mays.

I’m bitter about it too. Assuming good health, SG would have made such a difference to this Defense. Really too bad they couldn’t work it out.

He has no place in the offense, doesn’t play special teams, and wants to be traded because he isn’t getting snaps/targets. Pats are a bad fit.

As someone who ended up with him in their fantasy team for like seven straight years, it seems like he has a big game each year against one of his former teams, and then spends the next 5-6 weeks in IR.
