Catching up on the game. Bergeron's second goal was peak Marchand. Aggressive forecheck to steal the puck, then making himself such a pest that Krebs just sailed on a check over him. The tussle distracted everyone, and Bergeron just walked into the space created by the distraction.

Marchand is an all-time agitator and I'm so glad he's a Bruin.

Seems most players agree. The NHLPA survey came out and Marchand pretty much ran away with the “hate to play against/wish he was on my team” award. Wilson was a distant second.

Marchand got away with 3 slashes in a row basically and the ref finally got tired adn called it... the other were sticks in the wrong spot to trip guys basically...

the slashes weren't horrible, but just doing that many in a row finally got the ref to react especially since it was in the offensive zone and led to a turnover...
Good to know, at least they sound as if they were earned. The home game aspect of things had me confused. Thanks.

The back of your computer
Jack Ahcan, Oskar Steen, Jack Studnicka & Chris Wagner are recalled from Prov. Assume all play tonight.

Would expect Marchand, Bergeron, Hall, Pasta, McAvoy and Lindholm to sit tonight, even with A3/WC1 on the line.

Not against resting those guys by any means. Should be interesting to watch a B squad battle for the potential 3 seed.

It's the right call to bubble-wrap the key players. Regardless whether it's Carolina or Toronto it's going to be a tough first round any way you slice it, so the most important factor for playoff success right now is health.
