I'll be sitting in The Napkin's seats with my son. Can't wait! First B's game since March 2018.

Anyone know what’s going on with ESPN+? I’m in northern VA & I’m getting a blackout notification.

I am in SC. They black me out for Hurricanes and Panthers. How the fuck can I be in both markets. Blackout rules suck

For those of you blacked out, forbort still sucks. That play on Duclair was totally hopeless. Just instantly drops to a knee. Big ugh.

Forbort was defending against the cross ice pass that would've been a tap in on an open net. You can see him quickly glance at that skater crashing the net (with no defender on him) before he goes to the knee to get in the way of the cross. It was the right play, Duclair just sniped the fuck out of it. Lots of defensive failures on that, but Forbort didn't fuck up with that choice.

I feel like that's the best goal a bruin has scored in a shootout in a decade.

Pretty crucial win. Coming out of three games in four days with zero points is brutal, no matter how early in the season it is. Watching the highlights and looking at the analytics, the Bs played pretty well overall and deserved the two points they won. Coyle living up to his 2C potential is very heartening, and I'm going to continue to hope that McAvoy finds a consistent o-zone instinct, because if he does he's probably the most complete defenseman in the league.
