With the battery on my iPhone 11 dying, I decided to get the 14 Pro this morning rather than replace the 11’s battery. It’s mostly been fine, but I can’t get my watch to pair to it. When I try, I get stuck on this screen:

Anyone else ever run into this and have suggestions?

Try this:

4 fixes to Apple Watch not pairing with iPhone 13/14
  1. ▸Turn off Airplane mode on both devices. An enabled Airplane mode on either device will prevent all communications. ...
  2. ▸Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices. ...
  3. ▸Keep the two devices close to each other.

I had issues pairing my existing Apple Watch with my last phone. I just reset the watch from settings and it paired it fresh— it loaded the backup automatically (I didn't even realize watches were backed up) and the whole process took about 15 minutes. Worked great

Thanks (and thanks to @ColdSoxPack). I spoke with technical support and we basically did what you suggested here, necessitated because the store did not fully erase my old phone and my watch was still paired to that. It works now.
