Buck accused Musgrove of using a substance and they felt his face and shit and he was clean. There should be an equal consequence for being wrong.
I guess I'm not on the popular side of the argument, but I think it's worth a check. His spin rates were all up, yea it's probably just because he's amped, but it's an elimination game, Musgrove has had a shaky second half, and you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot. I don't blame Buck.
I agree with this plus it messes with his rhythm, maybe. There should be a penalty if nothing is found though.
Then do it in the first or second inning. Don't wait until mid-game when you're down 4-0 and are just trying to throw a guy off his game

I really don't get the point of waiting until the 6th inning to decide it's worth checking unless you're absolutely certain you've caught what he's doing. The damage is done and it's just announcing that he's inside your head.
Unfortunately you don't even need a field mic to hear Robbie Ray grunt on every pitch. It's the one reason to root against Seattle.
I can't find proof, and we know he's available, but I don't think Diaz has ever pitched 3 games in a row - or at least not this season.

Nah. He wouldn’t bring his elite closer into a tie game in extras. Especially in the playoffs.
Really irresponsible for ESPN to show McCutchen’s tweet when he has no proof to back up his “guarantee” Musgrove is using Red Hot.
