I had two beers. Feeling frisky. Huge game for Philly tonight. I hope the players are ready because Boston will bounce back tonight.

No Embiid. No Kemba. Philly rarely loses at home.

It’s a shooters league now. Which team will shoot better tonight?

It’s all on Al Horford tonight. 76ers need to run the floor, play D. Thybulle is back after missing two weeks with a thigh bruise, knee bruise, whatever.

Josh Richardson looking good. Sixers have “moved the chairs around” on offense, as Brett Brown said before the game.

Al finally scores. And Kemba has 11 already. Game is flowing without Embiid’s postups.

Down 9 after first quarter. Sixers playing small, missed 10 of last 13 shots. Defense nonexistent.

Back from the dead. Down 3. Oops. Kemba just jammed his left thumb. Off to locker room late in first half.

7-point game at halftime.

Korkmaz warming up. He’s a shooter but has to be wide open. Boston has just ignored him tonight.

Surprising win. Nice to see Horford with room to work. Josh Richardson was a revelation tonight.

You expected 29 points, 7 assists, and 10 FTA a night out of him? :)
Last night was one of his 1/2 dozen or so best games of his career. Not sure we should expect that from anyone
To be fair......as DeJesus says, if Richardson can become a consistent 29/7 guy the entire league better look out!! :)

Richardson torched Walker for 13 points in the first quarter. According to The Athletic, by starting Mike Scott at forward, Philly went with its big lineup, and Kemba Walker had to guard Richardson. Kemba scored 11 in the first quarter when both teams were on fire from the field.

Philly closed the game with Thybulle, Simmons, Horford, Richardson and Harris. Brad had nobody to pick on, unlike previous years. Brad did torch Trey Burke with Marcus Smart posting him up earlier in the game.

Last night’s game will fade away quickly for both teams. Embiid’s absence does allow Philly to play more aggressively at both ends. It allows for experimentation with a versatile lineup. Simmons even played some center, although Kanter took advantage of Ben several times and owned the boards until he wore down in the fourth quarter.

Kanter only played 6 minutes in the 2nd half (3 minutes at the end of the 3rd and 3 minutes at the beginning of the 4th) and 17 minutes total. i sure hope he didn't get worn down

Good point. Why did he play so little?
I suspect that it was be a Horford is a bad match up for Enes given Al"s ability to credibly stretch the floor.

With regard to Richardson, to clarify, I certainly didn't expect "29/7" from him but I thought that he would improve upon his production from the last few years with increased usage and more of a defined role. Instead he has taken a step back from his breakout season a few years ago.

Well, the bottom line is that the Sixers are now 3-0 vs the Celtics and own the tiebreaker if it comes to that.
