Saw a rumor on the Red Sox reddit that misinterpreted a RedSoxStats post on Blue sky that the Brain Trust is trying to trade for Bubba Chandler, #1 prospect in the pirates org, #2 pitching prospect in MLB. Not gonna happen, but got me wondering if there's any orgs that have a a prospect imbalance tilted towards pitching that could line up with us in trade.
So I'm poking around on FG and see that 5 of the top 7 prospects in the ATL org are starting pitchers. The top 3 are 50 or 55 FV players that already have pitched at the ML level (albeit, uninspiring appearances). That team is so loaded.. the only hole on the ML team looks like LF where Kelenic et al were absolutely terrible. It does look like they have no high ceiling OF prospects anywhere in the system.
Any thoughts on these ATL SP prospects and whether there's a potential trade match up with the Sox?
