Judge right now has 358 total bases. In 1978, Jim Rice had 406. The difference is in the amount of walks/hits - Judge has 120 walks and 167 hits, and Rice had only 58 walks but had 213 hits that year.
The season ended on a disappointing note, but it's pretty cool that Judge and Gil won major awards. Soto and Wells being top three for those awards is nice too.
Hopefully Soto comes back and this team builds on what they did.
