Maybe someone else can corroborate this, but didn't Leyritz do an interview from the stands during the 2003 or 2004 ALCS while wearing one of those lame Yankee bomber jackets and basically shit all over the Sox? I think that's gotta be part of my hate for him.

This guy seriously is the winner of this contest. Hard to believe he was the NL MVP in 1989, and already effectively done as a major leaguer by 1995 (at age 33). And the Sox traded him away at the trade deadline 1996 for 2B Roberto Mejia who went straight to AAA and was then released in February 1997, and a pitcher named Brad Tweedlie who never made it past AA.
Bedard was a perfectly cromulent pitcher, but he caught a lot of flack because of the context of his performance. He was the big (and only) in-season acquisition for a seemingly good team. Despite that, he never pitched into the 7th inning and the team only went 4-4 in his starts. And I think he got hurt at some point, if I remember correctly. Then they collapsed and missed the playoffs.
He did get the W in one of the "must win" games down the stretch, so there's that.
The good news about the Bedard trade is that none of the players sent out really amounted to very much:
Juan Rodriguez was a somewhat promising strike-out artist, with 13.4K/9 at Greenville. Turns out he was also a BB artist and was out of the game a year later. Tim Federowicz turned out to be nothing more than a backup catcher. Fife showed some promise in Portland that season, but hasn't pitched in the majors in 3 seasons. The 1.050 OPS that Chih-Hsien Chiang put up for Portland that season turned out to be the highlight of his minor league career.
Technically the first and third one of these already don't qualify. Hopefully you won't feel like this about either the second or third by the end of the season
In light of some comments made a couple pages back, I think we need to define what constitutes being the least favorite for any given person. To me, it's someone who was impossible to root for even despite the laundry, not how little they contributed on field. Bobby V and Pierzynski were just assholes who made you feel bad for cheering anything they did. To me, they tie.
I was coming to post this. He played 137 games over the course of two different years. He counts.

He was extraordinarily good at hitting into them, though. Skydome security moved me away from the Sox dugout after I let loose one too many "double play Jose" chants - but at least I got to talk a bit to Ricky Henderson before they moved me along.
If it weren't for Lugo, JO would be my least favourite Sox of this century (non Bobby V division)

But...but...but...he replaced Mo Vaughn's OBP (well, at least for the one year with the Red Sox that he was actually good). (I still can't believe they couldn't have splurged by spending another million or so to get Robby Alomar instead).
I actually loved Bob Watson as a player, but after going to the Yankees, and then becoming league office gestapo, the good feelings have long-since faded.

Todd Frowirth (recently deceased, sadly): Was brought up from Pawtucket a week to 10 days before the 1994 strike (as were a couple of other people too) not because he deserved to get brought up but because he had a big league contract and wouldn't get paid when the strike started. Got absolutely lit up several times before the strike ended the season. On my list because of the strike as much as anything else.
Matt White: 2003 Sox. Rule 5 guy that the Sox writers kept hammering the point that the Sox had to activate him or lose him and what a tragedy it would be if they lost him. So they activated him finally. Earned run average of 27.00, 11 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. Remember him getting absolutely lit up at Skydome in the game Manny hit that monstrous homer. Awful, simply awful, and released after 3 games. Later pitched for the M's and the Nats, similar results. Plus, the writers referred to him nearly every time as "Rule 5 Lefthander Matt White", so much so that "Rule 5 Lefthander" seemed like part of his name.
