Seems worthy of its own thread, as he is (or perhaps was) considered a credible HOF candidate in some circles.

Though the allegations have made headlines in the pair’s native Venezuela, they have received scant coverage in the United States, where Blanca and Omar reside and where Omar spent 24 years playing professional baseball.

However, Major League Baseball is investigating Omar Vizquel. MLB has interviewed Blanca and, as recently as last week, members of her family. Additionally, MLB probed an incident from 2019 when Vizquel was managing the Double-A Birmingham Barons, a minor league affiliate within the Chicago White Sox organization. The incident, which involved a male team employee, led to Vizquel being dismissed as manager of the team in the month before his one-year contract expired, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation. Though Vizquel is not currently employed by an MLB team, any disciplinary action assessed by MLB would follow Vizquel should he seek employment within the league in the future.

Does it go into more detail on this part?

I hadn't heard any of either of these allegations yet and I'm not an Athletic subscriber (I know, I know!) yet

I found an article from when he was fired, but it doesn't reference anything like this.

What’s more, there are indications that Vizquel, for all his personal charm and savvy, is not the right fit for an organization already lagging analytically. Stolen base attempts and bunting, a fit for Vizquel’s game personally and a vestige of a different time in baseball, were cornerstones of his clubs. Unfortunately, Vizquel’s players rarely demonstrated mastery of such small-ball tools, particularly in the area of stolen bases (91-of-137, 66% at Birmingham, 121-of-199, 60% at Winston-Salem).
After the season (the previous season), Vizquel as a rising star managerial candidate interviewed for the MLB opening with the Angels, rather famously admitting he was thrown by the interview’s stress on analytics.
