That was my first thought too. I feel like he's one of those guys, like your dude Crowder, whose impact on actually winning basketball games is discounted by casual fans because his game isn't aesthetically pleasing and because a relatively large part of his value is derived from things that doesn't really pop up in the box score- things like spacing, screen-setting, and team defense. Godspeed Kelly, I think he caught more shit from fans than he deserved based on his play, plus he always seemed like a good teammate and a fun guy who really enjoyed doing the community outreach stuff.
