So Grant Williams is just going to be a knockdown three point shooter, we are all agreed on that point, yes?

Someone had made the point that his shorter wingspan will make for a nice, repeatable shot motion when he’s open for 3. Seems to check out.

The NBC Sports New England feed is 100x better than ESPN’s, but these repeat ads are brutal. The Fios commercial, some scam flipping houses, hungover Zolak schilling tickets, that’s about it.

Its just unnecessary. We had enough negativity in this forum and the gamethreads last season. We don't need more. You can and will do whatever your heart desires, however I would suggest that a better approach is to simply address people you don't agree with head on.

And btw, nobody suggested that Strus could do anything versus Kawhi Leonard but people were openly speculating about other SL rostered players being effective against other elite players. You may agree with them but its entirely reasonable to point out that this level isn't the same as facing an All NBA player.

I’m pretty sure Tacko really actually does have to jump to dunk.

Won't go in the scoresheet but Grant just made such a smart pick underneath when he saw the position Onuaku had in the post.

Scal: I liked Yabu when I worked out with him; I thought he was going to make it. Well, then I blocked his shot...that might have been a sign.

His basketball IQ has been as good as advertised and what we saw in college. Its hard not to be bullish about his career at this point.

Grant stands there like a stone wall, but even stones have feelings.

Tremont looks like he can handle the combat zone.

"He'll be a two-way player somewhere."

Yes, perhaps with the team that signed him to a two-way contract.

This is better for PM but I never called you out directly and the Baynes/KOC was good natured (if you accused me of being KOC I would be flattered - that kid is one of the best NBA analysts out there). Let's leave it die - people dont want to read anything I write and would prefer your in game analysis.

From Dakich's wiki:

Dakich is remembered for his defensive effort against Michael Jordan in Indiana's upset of No. 1 ranked North Carolina in the 1984 East Regional Semifinal of the NCAA Tournament. It was Dakich's sixth start of the year, but Knight assigned him to guard Jordan the afternoon of the game. Knight told him, "Just don't let him dunk on you. That will embarrass you and me both."[2] Dakich commented, "I went back to my room and threw up."[2] Dakich held Jordan to 13 points in Indiana's 72-68 victory, with both players ultimately fouling out in what would be Jordan's final college game.[3]

Always loved the Aldridge quote about how if Lamar Odom were 6'2" he'd be a shoe salesman while KG would be Rajon Rondo. If Grayson Allen didn't have elite athleticism he'd cleaning a toilet with a toothbrush somewhere.

Someday he's going to get punched in the face fucking hard and I hope the league does the right thing and doesn't punish whoever has the common decency to do it.
