It can work out awesome. My buddy did it, and he's had built-in babysitters for every one of his three kids over the past 15 years. If you plan on having children, it's not a bad deal at all.

If you get along with your in-laws its fine. If they will watch your kids, even better. If you don't get along with them, pass like you are TimeLord with an open look from the perimeter.

Cool—biggest issue might be more along the lines of finding excuses for turning down multiple dinners per week, which certainly could be worse.

He’s able to shade off his man on the help side just enough that he can help clog the lane but also get back to close out his man to force a long 2 instead of a 3.

Guys, while I have some eyes on the thread: how close is too close vis-a-vis buying a house within walking distance to the in-laws? Like, how much should it matter if this house is otherwise the one (and we are otherwise struggling to find the right house)?

Do you have kids that the in laws will help with? Otherwise it could suck. My mom lives with us and if it wasn't for her help with the kids I wouldn't like it much.

While he moves better than expected, watching Tacko bend down to grab a ball on the floor is painful. It seems like there should be a beeping sound as with heavy machinery backing up.
