I saw this Reddit thread today. It got me thinking that some (most?) of the crew here must have some extremely aged Sox gear that is still regularly worn instead of displayed on a shelf or in a glass case. Here's my example, next to a newer comparison:

The relic survives, but it is strongly encouraged that it remain within the limits of our property.

So SoSH, what old raggedy garbage do you still sport, even with the looming threat of relationship damage?

(Mods: I searched for any old threads that may have addressed this -- please merge/delete this one as you see fit.)

Don’t have a pic because it’s since been trashed, but I bought one of the 47 franchise style hats the night of the game 3 2003 Trot walkoff - I was at that game. Blue cap with red bill. I wore that thing into the ground for over 10 years, by the end the cap was more of a very faded purple and the red was lighter than Nantucket red. But I always loved that thing even though it was ridiculously beat up.

This was my grandfather's and I don't know where he got it from. The patch on it is for Marvelous Marvin Hagler and matches the one from this 30th birthday party favor.

My grandfather was a boxer in the Navy and would hang around the boxing scene around Boston, so it's possible he was there. In any case, it's an XL and I wear a S, so it never leaves the house.
