Other than his shot, Duncan Robinson is a hilariously bad player. That attempt to draw a charge after he almost airballed a 3 was one of the most lame, stupid things I’ve seen on a court

Before Game 6, Zach Lowe had Adam Mares on his podcast. Mares is a Nuggets writer and he knows a ton about the team.

He said that the Celtics are among the worst matchups in the league for the Nuggets while the Heat are the best. He also said that everyone in the Nuggets organization was rooting heavily for the Heat to win (something Lowe confirmed)
Adam?? No shit. Great dude. Got drunk with him many times. I think his wife got pissed when we talked sports all nite at the bridal table for our buddies wedding.
He was talking about starting his blog / pod. Didnt realize had come so far.

Yeah, he’s a multi-time Lowe Post guest.

They talked about it on the pod but apparently last offseason he went to Serbia for a week and stayed in Jokic’s home town and shot a documentary about the experience. Lowe said it was very good

Fat turtle Kyle Lowry is the one leading the Heat comeback. Destined to come up short

Butler SUCKED tonight. If he’s the star he thinks he is, he should be getting a ton of shit from the media postgame

Butler sucked, the Cinderellas other than HH sucked and they still kept it within 11

Somehow this doesn’t make me feel better.

Wicked cool. Friend of a friend so didnt follow closely. Funny enough Im texting that co friend about the domination

He also agreed he was far more scared of the Cs. Someone above mentioned matchups. It is so true

Mark Jackson seeming shockingly confused by how good Jokic is is the best part of any Nuggets call

They sucked and they didn't. Still played a clean game. Didn't turn it over. Made Murray work. (He looked tired at the end.) Came out of time outs and made little runs. They make a few more open shots and this one would have been more interesting. I do think Denver has another gear or two, but the Heat are a pain in the ass.

Martin 1/7, Strus 0/10, Robinson 1/6 FG
I mean....you can't make this stuff up. Combined 2-23 from these guys after they spent an entire series burying everything against Boston.

*Reminder of what they shot vs. Boston:

Martin: 53-88 (.602), 22-45 (.489) from three
Strus: 23-55 (.418), 13-38 (.342) from three
Robinson: 30-54 (.556), 15-31 (.484) from three
TOT: 106-197 (.538), 50-114 (.439) from three

Denver is going to absolutely crush the Heat this series.

It's pretty wild that the Heat couldn't make open 3s all season, made like 60% of them against Boston to win a 7 game series, and then promptly reverted to who they actually are.

Basketball is rough sometimes.

I do think that Denver is the better team, with the much better superstar(s?), just didn't expect Miami to immediately revert this badly.

I should also emotionally hedge and say that it would have been very tough for the Cs, particularly the banged-up Cs, to beat this version of Denver.

Jokic is just so ridiculously in control.

I’m trying to think of a scrub aside from David Tyree who burned Boston sports more than Caleb F’ing Martin. Maybe Bucky F’ing Dent but I think he at least made an all star game once.
