Is Trautwig retired or just taking weekends off? A shame if he's completely gone from this. He was the best.

Same color guy as last time.

Last night’s biathlon pursuit races (both M & W) were outstanding. Compelling storylines; staggered, helter-skelter starts; close & exciting races; and superb commentating (Chad Salmela was fantastic in the color/support role). Far and away my favorite Winter Olympic sport.

Hell, I might consider taking up the sport if I didn’t hate Winter so much.

Haga was the absolute beast that brought the Norwegians back into contention but Bjorgen's final let was perfect.

Massive massive mistake by the Americans to allow a sprinter to try and stretch to a 5k that cost them being competitive. No guarantee they medal, but should have at least been fighting for it.

Over the past two days, I’ve found the cross-country relays to be compelling even as NBC’s live coverage has been infuriating.

Good stuff.

But you have to have someone better. That is the challenge in the race, even Norway who won had one lap where their competitor dropped 40 seconds to the lead

What an amazing race the 15k Biathalon Mass start was

Too bad this morning’s Today Show spoiled the outcome for me. I know to avoid Olympics news on other channels but I was surprised NBC would do that.

I have to say watching Diggins on the last lap was probably the highlight of the Olympics for me so far. At least three times, i thought to myself she couldn't win, but she was so clearly determined down the final stretch....That was awesome.

I saw an interview today where she said that she wanted to be behind coming into the final turn and make sure that no one would go flying past her. It's funny, if I'd seen it live I would've thought she was fading, but she clearly let herself fall back and kept a bit in the tank so she could gun it at the end.
