Thought staz was making this thread, but we're getting closer to game time so I'll just make it.

Both games today are on Fox Sports 1 Here's where to find it on your TV

Giants are starting Peavy to go against Strasburg for the Nats at 3 pm EDT

Cardinals have Wainwright on the hill to counter Kershaw for the Dodgers at 6:30 PM EDT.

I really want to root for Peavy, but I'm started to get dreams of a KC/Nats WS in my head so I can't.

That Wainwright vs. Kershaw duel should be a good one.  I'd really like to see the Dodgers beat the Cardinals because I like Puig.  Also, the Cardinals fans are the self proclaimed best fans so they're probably the best able to deal with an early playoff exit.

Nats, Dodgers, Giants, Cardinals.  In that order (the Cardinals just bore me to tears).  Dodgers/Giants is almost a wash for me, though.  I enjoy some of the personalities on both teams and can more or less ignore Carl Crawford.

Kind of sick of the Cardinals and Giants being here.

I like Kershaw, and Agon, and Puig, and Beckett (even injured), and Crawford (even even), and the Nats would be a good story and Strasburg deserves it. Nats Orioles would be fun. Cards Royals would be fun, also, but I don;t want the Cards to steal KC's thunder or their tickets.

Go Nats
Go Dodgers

Can this be the Cardinals hatethread? I submit this to persuade anyone who may not be interested in rooting against the Cardinals.

May the best team, whoever they are, win. I'm getting a very unsettling feeling that Baltimore may be representing the AL this year in the World Series, and there's no way in  hell that I want to see them win.

Thanks a million for posting this; was about to hire Hanzel and Gretyl to help me find this game; not sure why MLB is making this so difficult, but thanks again....................
ESPN.com schedule always has the games/networks. Then you just have to find where your provider puts Fox Sports 1 :p

That play at second looked really close, would have liked to see a better replay.

Peavy at 75 pitches through 4.  He's set up for getting shelled in the 6th when the top of the order is back up, assuming he can get through the 5th uneventfully.  Let's see if Bochy properly prepares for that meltdown.

You have my full support. The last thing that I want to see is another Cardinals-Giants NLCS. I've had my fill of both of these teams for the next decade or so.

(But go Jake! kick some ass)

One of my best friend's is a Cards fan so I am obligated to root for them even though he once committed the nearly unpardonable sin of calling me up during a certain game in October 2003 so he could help me "count the final outs."

I immediately knew that was a bad idea, and it was.

Lopez hasn't been as good as other years. One guy.

Wow -- here comes Strickland.  Huge risk by Bochy here, but he is definitely a strikeout guy.

Peavy, Javy, Strickland... why can't the Sox get guys like that?

100 mph for the strikeout.

And there's why the Giants were happy to ship Hembree over for Peavy.
