Sometimes it's fun to not keep track of players because it leads to little surprises like "Hey it's Fernando Rodney! With the Cubs! In the playoffs!"

I was thinking the same thing. Had that feeling last night with Gomes on the Royals

When it's all said and done, that Rizzo trade is going to make "Ruth sold to the Yankees" look like "Sparky Lyle for Danny Cater."

I cannot ever recall seeing a Rodney outing that wasn't an adventure.  Glad to see he is living up to past billing.

Have to give Theo credit; quite a team he's assembled here, they're loaded for years to come regardless of how this turns out and I think they've got this.

Mad don has never met a game he didn't like over managing in. How many bullets does he have in the pen? Over managing.

From what I can tell, he has Strop and Rondon left among relievers, then it's Lester and Hendricks

As much as I despise the jerkwhistle, every move he's made this series has paid off.

Unfortunately.

His bullpen is garbage.  He is managing Tito-style, which is the right thing to do.

The future looks really bright for this Cubs team. Theo will likely achieve the Daily Double with his second historically hopeless fanbase.

Eck "What in the world?"

He's something else, just love the guy.

The Cubs are like a beer league softball team, what a bunch of mashers.

They couldn't find anyone that age, they all dropped dead from heart attacks.

There were probably a few thousand people who were alive for the 1918 Sox WS.

There might be 1 or 2 from 1908
