After that hit, Foles might think his name is Tom.

Great catch by Maclin though.

That is really close with Maclin. The ball slides up his shoulder, so you could argue he didn't have possession until it settled and he was out of bounds. Unbelievable effort either way.

Is that a catch? The ball moves after he hits the ground, but he might have it secured by the time he slides out of bounds. Doesn't look like the ball hit the ground. Probably one that would stand however it was called on the field.

Agreed. If they called it incomplete on the field they wouldn't overturn it.

Really interesting playcall for the Eagles. Let's see what Chip does.

SF should have challenged. Oh, wait.

So true. I don't understand the logic of making a bad challenge just...cuz. Should have saved it for the TO or for a play on which you might actually win a challenge.

In fairness, Philly was rushing to the line - no way SF had the chance to properly review it.  Harbaugh had to make a split decision based on limited information.

Great stop by the Niners there.  Their defense has been pretty good all day.  If their special teams aren't horrible, this game isn't close.

Terrible play calls, and terrible decision making by Foles on 4th.  Better off running or (best yet) throwing it with a little bit of a lead to the TE there.

Brutal.

How do you not run the ball on either third or fourth and 1 at the goal.

I think you run on both 3 and 1 and 4th and 1.

Yes....the entire critique of Caldwell came down to his lack of expression on the sideline. Pretty weird coming from Pats' fans.

God knows...but made no sense. I don't know much about Bortles, but I stick by my call of TB as best QB in the last draft. The Jets coulda had him! But instead they went for the immortal headhunting Calvin Pryor, lol.
Ohhhhh no, that was for sure not the whole critique of Caldwell

speaking of calls..wouldn't you have thrown it if you're the 49ers?
