It's not just that it was a terrible idea, it's also that whatever play was called there was also blown. Was it supposed to be a handoff? Was there a receiver who they thought would be open? Punter looked lost.

That overhead replay made it look like punter running was the play there, and a Cowboy didn't bite on the fake handoff and blew up the play
How does that even happen? An interception is meaningless there. Just throw the ball up at least.
