I see it this way too. I see Lynch walking away from the game before he is cut. I remember reading he was seriously thinking about retiring before they threw this contract at him. If he did walk, Seattle could conceivably go after his signing bonus but I don't think that's likely as they basically got him for an extra year at $5M.

Dalton has got to change the protection there. In the 2nd quarter, the screen pass was a perfect play call and Dalton very nicely pointed to where Bernard needed to be to 'block' and that sprung him. Dalton did nothing of the sort there and got pancaked.
