That was Shanny totally trying to call the dogs off for his former employee and we do a penalty

Here
Purdy is so inconsistent. Had his RB wide open, makes a horrible decision instead.

You all might be jumping the gun on the Jets being bad. I don’t think they look terrible and Jordan Mason has been doing this to teams any time he touches the ball for a while (CMC gets too many touches in this offense actually).

I think there’s promise here for the Jets. The Niners are good.

What exactly has shown promise for the Jetsies?

Rodgers looks healthy, he seems to have a good hookup with Wilson and the O line isn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

They can’t stop the run, but have frustrated Purdy. I mean they’re not contenders, but they aren’t terrible.

Why is Shanahan throwing the ball if they are running at will? He is a play calling genius and a situational football dimwit.

Update that the won’t make a big deal of on the broadcast probably but niners G Aaron Banks is out, and Spencer Buford is in. Buford is terrible. I wonder if they don’t run inside as much now.

I wonder if the Boy Genius thing makes him believe he can bend reality to his will. I sort of wonder whether Reid had a similar problem when he refused to get help for his clock management. But eventually Reid realized he had to change and maybe Shanny will too.

Shanahan has smartly taken FG after FG in this game instead of pushing on 4th though. Small thing but really has basically put the game almost on ice that way.

2 tds and 2 conversions down a timeout and with a porous defense. Looks like the jets will be alone in the afc east basement
