I spit out my coffee at the Eli one. Romo was a close second - "Vacation spots in January". Wow.

"Bernard Pollard: Oh God, he's not behind me, is he?" on the BRADY cover is fucking priceless.

The only bad thing about that BB mag cover is the depressing fact that the Pats probably won't be running up the score on anyone anytime soon.

In a true act of one-upsmanship, Geno Smith decides that his lineman's butt just isn't good enough, and fumbles off of his own.  Pure awesome.

Jets, Ravens, Pats and Saints are all really good. Most of the others are just fan/city stereotypes.  I can't figure out Homer's connection to the Bengals though.

Edit: Or Bart's connection the Niners

Oops, yeah.  I still don't get it.

D'oh Bears! (he fits nicely with the other SuperFans)

Mr. Burns in a Patriots cardigan is totally appropriate and very funny. Release the hounds.

Crazy Cat Lady and her #6 cat...that's pretty good.

On another note...

Guys, don't over think this--they're not representations of the owners but of the teams and their general associations, so it includes everything from ownership to fanbase.

And it's fucking fantastic. The Jets is priceless.

Well the transit system website is bart.gov, other than that I've got nothing. If they were going full on stereotype wouldn't they have used Smithers?

Poochie as the Chargers is sneaky funny. As is Gil as the Browns.

Bay Area Rapid Transit.

Funny.

That makes sense.   But this is actually the first association that came to my mind, given the pic of Bart they used:

That's Edelman and as he walks into the frame he's looking up.  He just didn't see it.

Edelman didn't catch anything all day long, no surprise he didn't connect with Brady there.

Aside from his 5 catches for 57 yards and 1 big one on the TD drive to win the game, the rest of your post is spot on.

I was going to come and post the Socci/Zo call, but already here and with an awesome video to boot. Unicorns and show ponies?!

It's an allusion to his radio show (and I think to Toucher) that's become sort of a thing. If you don't listen to Gresh and Zo, I can't imagine how incredibly weird that sounds.  It's sort of like an inside joke that's gone way too far but maybe even stands up on its own.  I don't know WHY unicorns and show ponies works there, but it really sort of does

The interplay between Socci/Zo is great, Zo's unbridled nutsiness is great, but my favorite part of the sequence is when Bob says "[Brady's] got The Hoo-man on the right wing." The Hoo-man. Love it.

Coming around on Socci on the basis of moments like this one.
