How did Cincy let the play clock get down that far after a penalty? Yeesh.
This has been happening all year. Happened repeatedly to the Patriots. The play clock after a penalty is only 25 seconds. QBs are accustomed to 40 seconds, I think. They huddle up and then are confused and scrambling.

Third and two and he heaves it a mile downfield in a snowstorm................and actually a great throw but also a nice play to knock the ball out.

Buffalo literally have zero answers for the dump off pass.
I swear every time they have a ballcarrier in space they whiff on a diving tackle when they should be just running in a straight line towards the ballcarrier so that they both go careening into the snow

I don't have a strong rooting interest, but part of me wants to see Cincy win just so we're not subjected to a conference championship game in a neutral-city dome.

Cincy seemed more ready for snow. So much designed to get guys in space and to create gaps. They keep running a pitch that starts ten yards behind the line but takes advantage of the defense having to contend with snow.

It’s not hard to see the play clock and the ball. The reason there are no delay flags is because the NFL specifically do not wants flags for delay unless the clock has been at zero so long it becomes impossible to ignore

I support that

Doesn’t it just incentivize the offense to treat it like a 41 or 26 second, as the case may be, play clock?

Yes, except for a handful of times this year when an official suddenly/mysteriously treated it like a clock in the NBA.
