Eagles wound up with a pretty easy path to the SB. A bad Giants team and then SF with the backup to the backup of the backup’s backup.

I wonder if we will see more of this with seven teams and one bye. One upset or injury and you give the 1 seed an easy path.

Too bad Cris Collinsworth isn’t doing this game to blame the 49ers losing their shit on the Eagles.

San Frans been dirty in this second half and the Eagles come off as front-running douches. Ugly, awful game.

The ref should pull both coaches together in the middle of the field and say guys no more of this or we are just going to eject everyone here (or something like that).

I think basically making both teams go to the sidelines accomplishes that.

running reverses seems like a bad idea at this point. Samuel could have had his ACL blown out there. Just wind clock and go home.

Man, there have been a lot of blowouts in the NFL playoffs. But this might be one of the worst, ugliest games ever in the playoffs.

There definitely hasn't been an NFL championship game where a team didn't have a QB who couldn't throw the ball for the entire 2nd half.

What? I mean the Eagles started like all of that before Williams actually flipped him and smashed him. Why even get into it after a meaningless running play with 4 minutes to go.
There’s a big difference between pushing and shoving after a play and Trent Williams ragdolling a dude over his shoulder. That was super fucking dirty.

I didn't say that wasn't dirty. I said the Eagles started the entire transgression. Williams was an awful play and he never should have done that. But the Eagles were getting after it after the play all day - that probably should have stopped in a 24 point game late in the 4th quarter.

Didn’t there used to be a rule where a team could carry a third, emergency QB who didn’t count against the active roster limit? I assume they scrapped that?

Not usure I agre with matching there, Trent Williams was 90% of that.
Not really. The Eagles player had a hold of, I think, Deebo's facemask for like 3 minutes. Two refs were trying to pull him off, and he wouldn't let go. So Trent said "fuck it, I'll get him off" and he well, he did.

Then another Niner player came in throwing punches, which is the auto ejection.

I dunno, the Niners took some frustration penalties earlier. The shove out of bounds on Hurts was bad too. It was chippy because of the circumstances.

Wasn’t the Niners defense trying to punch out the the football after the whistle repeatedly on the last possession? These teams are trying to win.
