Meyer is the fourth head coach under Khan's ownership (five, if you count Jack Del Rio, who was there when he bought it). It's his most high-profile hire, sure; but it won't impact opinions of his judgment anymore than the previous four
Khan owns 2 major teams (Jags and Fulham) the Jags he has hired what looks like 4 bad coaches in 9 years (in a league where failure has no consequence), at Fulham he has had (not including the incumbant when he bought it) 7 managers in 8 years and suffered relegation.
Seems like he has decided he is done--and really, as others have pointed out, is there enough need for money to deal with Khan and that overall situation? For some guys they need the competition, but Cowher has made it 14 years without it so don't think he falls into that bucket.
If Meyer ended up at either of those places, 100% he would elevate those programs very very quickly. But...yuck.

Yeah, one month in and he already looks checked out. And this is the guy who just got an absolute gift in Trevor Lawrence as a starting point. Khan can't mess around here. He has a potential all-everything QB that needs development and his head coach is seemingly more interested in chasing side action. Just a completely dysfunctional situation all around.
Yeah is the part that sucks, by the time we get to play them they’ll be playing for some scrappy, well-liked interim coach and not be a total dumpster fire.
