The "fan of the team drafting gets to sit in the broken down chair" gimmick is horrendous.

And yet, it's far from the worst aspect of the draft coverage so far.

The whole thing is cheesy and overdone.

At least we don't need to hear about everyones' sob stories this year. I'll take that as a major win.

It is but NFLN is talking right over most of the nonsense. I think it is ok. I don’t get why they think they need to or want to do this though.

On the clock
I'd like to see one of the three Ms
Meinerz
Molden
Melifonwu

Rbs aren't worth 3rd round picks, and post 2nd round WRs usually fail

I switched to the NFLN very early on; aside from Rich Eisen and his non stop babbling, it's better than ESPN.

He's still trying to wrap his head around why Houston picked a QB earlier tonight.

Reiss says its D again at 96.

Zero desire to upgrade at WR apparently.
If they didn't do it at 46 it wasn't likely to be an upgrade. Last I saw something like 25% of WRs in the 3rd are successful picks, and the comp picks are closer to a 4th where the hit rate is like 13%. If you want a good shot at an impact WR in the draft it needs to be first two rounds, after that it's just hucking darts in the dark.

Perkins... interesting. He's been the BPA on most sites for between 30 and 60 picks, wonder why he fell.

ESPN has Perkins as their 36th overall ranked player in the draft. No clue if they’re right but that would be phenomenal value at 96.

Drug pop was for weed, which no longer prompts suspensions in the NFL.

ESPN's #36
PFF #43
RInger #66
PFN #38
CBS #67

So basically everyone had him significantly ahead of draft spot.
