Facemasks infractions are the easiest to review by video and aren’t remotely subjective.
the NFL is stuck in the stone age and will need to be dragged kicking and screaming in order to start using instant replay like every other league.
I mean when MLB which used to think the human element was an essential part of the game is more willing to utilize technology to get every call right..:

How much of this is great offense, and how much is bad defense?

Very entertaining game, but I’m wondering how either team looks against Philly or KC.

A Charmin ad followed by a Chipotle ad feels so apt. And something the marketing folks at the latter sponsor should have considered when buying time maybe...

Yep, though MLB is long overdue on using robots for balls and strikes.

As a coordinator, that would be great. As the head guy? Methinks he'll flame out like Mike McDaniel.
Has McDaniel flamed out? He's made the playoffs 2 out of 3 years with a pretty mediocre roster, and he's 25-16 when he has an NFL QB, (I mean he has a better win% than Vrabel did in TEN)... he's been good.

That cut on Daniels was from last week and he wears a shield now. That hit was not responsible for that cut.

He's been OK, but the bloom is off the rose. Maybe a better comparison would be Josh McDaniels. Great coordinator, couldn't cut it as the head man.

Possible, but no particular reason to think that. Just as possible he's the next McVay or Shanahan or Reid.

How is a guy who made the playoffs in his first two years and missed in his third year by one game while his QB missed six games a flame out? Did you see the QBs he had to run out there for over a month?

I asked this about Romo too- who in the world is tuning into a game to listen to the announcer? It just seems like a total waste of resources to pay anyone millions of dollars to do color for 20 games.
Tom's hire is really for him to chum it up on the golf course with the potential sponsors who make the decisions on multi-million $ ad buys.

Yes. We won't know until next season is underway. I'm glad the Patriots went with the known commodity in Vrabel. I don't think Johnson's personality lends itself to Head Coach, but we shall see.
