In reality it rarely happens this way. The Referee has responsibility for roughing the kicker and usually by the time it’s impossible for the kicker to be fouled the punt has already landed somewhere. Then the deep wing just guesses and the Referee puts on a show of “stopping him” right where he already decided the spot would be.
Thanks for the real low-down! The difference between the true expert and the dilettante.

I feel terrible for lion fans, but I wouldn’t be upset with a scrappy young Washington team winning.

Airmailed that throw, right out of the Mac Jones handbook
Thought Brady did a great job breaking the play down — it was a bad throw, but the bigger mistake was throwing deep into coverage instead of throwing to LaPorta, who apparently was open. Bad read. And with good protection —- just a colossal fuck-up by Goff on multiple levels.

A Detroit team with better injury luck would have been so strong. This team is vulnerable. Don't want to be in a position to need Goff to do too much.

A better throw and he hits the second level man, but LaPorta was definitely the layup.

And now Goff is heading to the back. Doesn’t look good for Detroit

Wait, if a QB throws a pick the defense has to treat him as a defenseless player and can't touch him unless he tries to make the tackle?
