“Man I hate when certain teams just keep winning every year” non self-aware Patriots fan
I am a self aware Patriots fan who knows that everyone hated the Patriots for two decades and is now annoyed to have to watch the Chiefs in the AFC championship game again. What a dumb fucking post.

Well of course, but Pats fan ISN’T aware of the parallel?

Doesn’t mean we will like it any more than Chiefs fans, or old Steelers fans before the, did when it was the Pats.
Oh I know, I was just making a joke. I am tiring of seeing the chiefs so I can relate a little more to other fans when the moaned about the Patriots. That being said, I do think the Chiefs may get more referee breaks (intentional or unintentional) than the patriots did during their run.

It was a joke, sorry I upset you. I live near KC so I see it everyday. Please try not to be so snappy and presumptuous. It was truly simple sarcasm from a lifelong (since the mid 70’s) Patriots fan. Peace

Both games start with extremely counterproductive opening kickoffs by the underdog.

I am sorry you are having to endure this embedded so deep in enemy territory. I grew up around the NY area and it was trauma inducing.
At first, I was happy for the Chiefs, Brady beat them in 2019, then they ascended to SB Champs later. As a kid growing up in New England, I was a Pats fan first and my 2nd favorite team was the chiefs. Now with living near KC, it’s like I can’t escape it! I was really ok until last year for following reasons:
1. When Mahomes bitched and moaned about the Kelce pass play that was flagged and nullified a touchdown
2. They’re getting too close to Tommy, Bill, and team’s 6 SB rings
3. KC fans can’t see some of the crazy luck, fortunate calls, dick-head behavior (see number 1 above) objectively. I had a friend who I always thought was fair in interpretation of douchey behavior totally think Mahomes was ok whining like a dink about that play
4. Some clowns out here still bring up deflategate. FFS, it’s physics yah damn fools!

It's amazing how much better TB12 is now compared to the first few games of the season. He's easily one of the best commentators already.

I'll never understand how they know where a punt goes out of bounds in the air

Maybe there’s a poster out there who could explain it. idk
Sure, I can. It's a 100% guess out of thin air, where the ref runs in from 35 yards downfield with his arm raised and chooses a nice place for the drive to start.

Oh, you mean CFB_Rules...

I think the official on the sideline tracks when it crosses and the official where it landed walks it up until the side judge tells him to stop.
