It’s just hard to believe how Mahomes can engineer scores that occasionally break into the 20s when given a few extra chances every drive. Just hard to believe.

You are mad at me for describing what is. I don't make the rules. The NFL has protected its star QBs for the last ~20 years. I am not saying Brady did the same things - Brady wasn't capable of running like Mahomes.
I am not mad at all. It’s just not an apples to apples comparison. Mahomes is a runner. Brady generally was not.

But fine, play the Martyr, seems to be your thing.

Joe Buck said “oh come on” upon seeing the replay. That call was uniquely terrible. Do you ever remember Joe Buck doing that? You want to change the conversation and not look at the actual calls.
Also, the rules analyst said he thought it was a very bad call... that's almost always the kiss of death

the problem with that call8s Mahomes didn’t slide—- he stayed high to gain more, by rule that’s quite different. It’s a bad call
this. This is why it’s incredibly disingenuous to bring up someone like Tom Brady to stick up for that call.

Honestly, I have never seen a QB who attempts to bend the rules to his favor like Mahomes. It’s not just that he runs, he runs and actively seeks flags.

He’s like fucking James Harden every time he leaves the pocket. Just shameless ref baiting constantly

What a joke. But since the consequential calls havent been on scoring plays, it will largely go ignored after the game. Eight points v 5, or even less, is a massive difference with only a few possessions left.

Chiefs are probably 80-85 percent to win now.

Kelce is running a 5.2 40 yard dash at this point in his career, I’ve had him for fantasy, he’s completely done outside of being a check down receiver. How Houston isn’t covering him is baffling.

Yes, we hate Mahomes, yes, we hate Kelce, yes, we hate the corrupt officials.
But yes, they are fantastic football players. Houston is giving a valiant effort. but the defense is not going to stop them if they need a score.

WTF is this? Weaksauce posting. Post not poster please.

Back to the topic, if refereeing of Mahomes isn't controversial the bots all over the internet are busy because if you Google the topic, there is so much content on this topic. If a defender comes in high on Mahomes he is getting that flag.

Sure they’re great…but they did stop them a couple times to have zebra do overs

I’m wondering if there’s any data on whether QBs that call for flags and constantly hounds the refs are more likely to get the PF call.
Brady honestly did it a lot and got the calls in the pocket... it's a good strategy, because refs are more scared of missing a roughing call than making a bad one.

I’d like to know which play someone came in high on Mahomes this game.

This is definitely true, NFL owners have basically said they don’t care how many roughing calls are incorrect as long as none are missed. Protecting the QB as their main investment matters more than anything else.

yeah, whining after the call is something that every QB does. Brady and Manning did it a bunch. That’s not unique to Mahomes.

What is unique to Mahomes, and something I have really never seen from anyone else, is that he’s ref baiting DURING plays
