NFL + DirectTV = Lawsuits

Just another $12 billion dollar lawsuit against the NFL this week. This week we have a class action on behalf of restaurant and bar owners against the NFL and DirectTV.

This is in addition to a separate lawsuit filed against Sunday Ticket which claims violation of anti-trust.

MLB and NHL are also named in the second suit. Not NBA, though.

I have DirecTV because that's how I can get the NFL Package and the Pats every week out of market.  These lawsuits resulting in DirecTV losing its exclusive hold on the NFL Package would likely be devastating to its business, as I doubt I am remotely alone.
 
Not that I have any clue whether these suits will result in any change any time soon.
